We design for the woman, not an idea of her. Each piece is conceived with room for movement and transformation, taking on a different expression with every woman who wears it.

Born in Mexico City and raised between Mexican and American cultures, Nicole Sutcliffe developed an early curiosity for different ways of seeing, making and living. This dual perspective continues to shape her creative instinct — an openness to exploring ideas across cultures, disciplines and references without being defined by any one of them.

Her creative process is deeply intuitive. Guided by spirituality, nature and personal experience, Sutcliffe often begins with a feeling, a symbol or a moment of revelation. These fragments are collected over time, gradually finding their way into drawings, prints, textures and silhouettes.

As founder and creative director of NICOLETTA, she approaches clothing as a form of expression — allowing intuition and movement to guide the work, and leaving space for each piece to become personal to the person who wears it.
